This is the large turbine designed mainly for offshore use. It will replace the NM110-4.2 MW, and the aim is to have this turbine on the market by the end of 2006. The V120 is the first development project done in the joint company.

The product is based on the superior technologies from the two companies such as blades of wood carbon and the Vestas control system. The V120 is constructed to match the requirements of large offshore projects.

Low weight and advanced control systems will reduce the foundation costs and improve the economy of offshore projects.
